Tredwells on a perfect summer day

I remember the first time I went to London, having something to eat proved to be quite a challenge. England was at that time not really putting the standards high on eateries. The best food you got acutally was in a pub. Over the years some of the best chefs have come from England. One of our favourite executive chefs is Marcus Wareing, who started his career as sous chef of  the notorious Gordon Ramsey, but quickly outgrew his teacher and mentor. He now owns a group of restaurants including a two star one. I decided to eat at Tredwells, a restaurants that serves contemporary  British cooking in the heart of the West end close to Covent Garden, one of my favorite places in London. It is also famous for it’s cocktails. Really enjoyed my lunch and my cocktail and my visit to the rest of the city. It was a perfect summer day.
